Shop added!

by alistair on August 28, 2010 in News with No Comments

There is now a shop available to buy prints of any of these pictures in a variety of sizes, from standard 6″x4″s to huge poster sized prints.

Click Here to visit the shop

It’s operated by Photobox, so you can rest assured that your transaction is safe.

Uploading the high quality versions of these pictures takes some time, so if you’d like a picture and it’s not in the shop yet, please be patient, or drop me a line through the contact page and I’ll bump it to the front of the queue :)

We’ve had a Makeover!

by alistair on August 25, 2010 in News with No Comments

I’ve finally given the site a much needed overhaul. With a concerted push, I’ve changed the theme,  adding the gallery that has meant to be in place since last year.

Images seen at Frogham Fair 2009 are now available in all their glory, along with a few new ones. There is more to come however, as I’m still going through my archive of shots to bring you beautiful images from the south coast and beyond, and of course, the site will continue to evolve, with new features yet to come.

We will be having a stall at the Frogham fair once again, so please do come along and say hi :)

details can be found in my previous post here

Bournemouth Air Festival and Frogham fair

by alistair on August 24, 2009 in News with No Comments

PLEASE NOTE: This post refers to the 2009 airshow and fair. arrangements for 2010 are still being made.

Anyone in the South Coast area over the past few days couldn’t have failed to notice that Bournemouth was hosting it’s 2nd air festival from 20th-23rd August. Well, I braved the crowds and blistering sun (It’s a hard life!) and took the camera, to get some great shots, such as this one:

The Red Arrows displaying to a packed Bournemouth beach on 22nd August 2009. The Synchro pair perform an inch perfect cross only a few hundred feet from the waters edge.

Frogham Fair

Also this bank holiday weekend, 29th August, is the Frogham Fair in the new forest. This is one of the most perfect examples of a classic British Country Fayre.

With demonstrations and events such as the annual terrier racing or wheelbarrow race, cakes and craft stands and classic car display, the fair is a brilliant slice of country life.

As well as my usual role, of assisting the treasury department, I’ll also have a stand there promoting the site and displaying some of my work. If you come to the fair, stop by and have a chat. We’d love to see you!
